If you’re thinking about a home loan, start by simply talking to us about what you need. If you’re self-employed or new to the country and may have difficulty providing this information, we have special options that may help.
- Your Sale and Purchase Agreement (if you have one).
- A valuation (if you have one) – you may need a valuation in some situations. We’ll let you know if you do.
- If you’re not a current National Bank customer, we’ll need: Identification (one form of photo ID e.g. driver’s license or passport or two forms of non-photo ID e.g. full New Zealand birth certificate, Certificate of New Zealand Citizenship), your last three months’ bank statements and a piece of mail addressed to your residential address (e.g. electricity or phone bill).
